LOVE CHRIST. SERVE OTHERS.
Our Christian faith is the most important part of our campus. Spiritual conversations happen as a natural part of life. But our faith isn’t just talk here. It’s lived out in countless ways in a community mindful of what it means to outwardly share Christ’s love.
Join other students in service by running a shelter for families, traveling the globe on a short-term mission trip, ministering to middle and higher schoolers and more. Specialized ministries like recycling, technology, construction and counseling offer interest-specific opportunities to serve.
Take serving a step further by applying to be a Bonner Scholar. Part of a national network, the Bonner program provides access to education and opportunities to serve. Students accepted to the program receive a generous scholarship package and engage in intensive community service and professional skills development. Bonners work for positive world change, with an emphasis on direct service, community-based research, social entrepreneurship or public policy advocacy.
At Carson-Newman, you’ll find a community that encourages you in your spiritual walk and challenges you to put your faith into action. You’ll find plenty of opportunities here.
